Pence “the U.S. Embassy will be moved from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem by the end of 2019”
Pence said he’s confident a single issue will not doom relationships with most allies.
Because the Qumran Caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found in 1947 are located in what is now known the West Bank, government officials in Germany refuse to provide written assurances that the Dead Sea Scrolls would be protected from confiscation by the Palestinian Authority as their own. The Scrolls have been scheduled to go on exhibit at Frankfurt’s Bible Museum since 2015 but will remain in Israel unless the German government reverses course and agrees to provide the required protections for these national treasures. The Palestinian Authority has attempted to claim ownership of the Dead Sea Scrolls and has been reportedly planning to demand that UNESCO order Israel to surrender the Scrolls, despite that fact that they are written in Hebrew and support the literal text of the Tanakh, or Old Testament as we know it today.
As reported by MEMRI TV, Arab media and social networks are up in arms over Kuwaiti writer Abdullah Al-Hadlaq who said in a recent television interview that Israel was an independent and legitimate sovereign state and that there was no occupation, but instead,
“a people returning to its promised land…
Like it or not, Israel is an independent sovereign state. It exists, and it has a seat at the United Nations, and most peace-loving and democratic countries recognize it. The group of states that do not recognize Israel are the countries of tyranny and oppression…
From the religious perspective, Quranic verse 5:21 proves that the Israelites have the right to the Holy Land. Allah says: ‘When Moses said to his people… Oh my people, enter the Holy Land which Allah has assigned to you.’ So Allah assigned that land to them, and they did not plunder it. The plundering entity is whoever was there before the arrival of the Israelites. Therefore, I do not go for obsolete slogans and terms like ‘Zionist plundering entity,’ and so on. The fact that I am an Arab should by no means prevent me from recognizing Israel. I recognize Israel as a state and as a fact of reality, without denying my Arab identity and affiliation…
There is no occupation. There is a people returning to its promised land… we Muslims must acknowledge that the Israelites have a right to that land, and that they have not plundered it…When the State of Israel was established in 1948, there was no state called ‘Palestine.’…
The Persian regime boasts that it has occupied four Arab capitals, and that it will soon occupy the fifth. Has Israel ever said such a thing? Has it boasted about occupying anything? No, because it never occupied anything. Israel came to its own land, whereas the Iranian Persian entity is a plunderer.”
FACT: Prior to 1964, the ‘Palestinian’ flag did not exist as known today, precisely because there never was a nation-state by that name. The Palestinian flag was hastily created by the PLO terrorist organization by taking the Jordanian flag and removing the seven-pointed white star from it’s red triangular field. As evidenced by numerous historical texts, the flag which was identified as representing the area once known as Palestine had an evenly divided field of light blue and white with a gold Star of David in it’s center.
The state of Israel’s religious establishment is taking its persecution of Messianic Jewish believers in Jesus to a new level. A rabbinic court, or Sanhedrin, has ruled that a Jew who believes in Jesus as the Jewish Messiah is no longer considered a Jew for purposes of marriage in Israel. This makes it impossible for […]
“I would like to read from Genesis 23:16-19: ‘And Abraham hearkened unto Ephron; and Abraham weighed to Ephron the silver which he had named in the hearing of the children of Heth, four hundred shekels of silver, current money with the merchant…And after this, Abraham buried Sarah his wife wife in the cave of the field of Machpelah before Mamre–the same is Hebron–in the land of Canaan. And the field, and the cave that is therein, were made sure unto Abraham for a possession of a burying-place by the children of Heth.’ [Read more…]
In 1945, The United Nations replaced the ineffective League of Nations in hope of preventing another world war. The intention was honorable and in its inceptive years, the United Nations were very influential in a positive way. One example is without a doubt the vote in favor of declaring the State of Israel in 1948. It was both historic and prophetic. Much has happened in the last 70 years, and not always in favor of Israel. As a matter of fact, more resolutions have been passed against Israel at the United Nations than any other countries in the world. [Read more…]
Celebrate Yom Yerushalayim or Jerusalem Day by reading Yeshayahu 61 ( Isaiah 61 ) … He came to set the captives free! Soon the long awaited Messiah of Israel, Moshiach Ben David, will arrive and all Israel will be unified.
The Good News of Yeshua
“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me,
Because the Lord has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord,
And the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn,
3 To console those who mourn in Zion,
To give them beauty for ashes,
The oil of joy for mourning,
The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness;
That they may be called trees of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”
4 And they shall rebuild the old ruins,
They shall raise up the former desolations,
And they shall repair the ruined cities,
The desolations of many generations.
5 Strangers shall stand and feed your flocks,
And the sons of the foreigner
Shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.
6 But you shall be named the priests of the Lord,
They shall call you the servants of our God.
You shall eat the riches of the Gentiles,
And in their glory you shall boast.
7 Instead of your shame you shall have double honor,
And instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion.
Therefore in their land they shall possess double;
Everlasting joy shall be theirs.
8 “For I, the Lord, love justice;
I hate robbery for burnt offering;
I will direct their work in truth,
And will make with them an everlasting covenant.
9 Their descendants shall be known among the Gentiles,
And their offspring among the people.
All who see them shall acknowledge them,
That they are the posterity whom the Lord has blessed.”
10 I will greatly rejoice in the Lord,
My soul shall be joyful in my God;
For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation,
He has covered me with the robe of righteousness,
As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments,
And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
11 For as the earth brings forth its bud,
As the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth,
So the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.
“I’m looking at two-state and one-state, and I like the one that both parties like, I can live with either one,” President Trump said on Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2017 during a joint news conference with his Israeli counterpart, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
“I would like to see a deal be made,” said Trump. This would not be a deal for a two-state solution, but a deal for peace, with or without a two-state solution. If the creation of a Palestinian state creates peace, then that’s good, but it simply does not need to be the only road to peace.
The principle of two states for two peoples became such a basic truth that in the conflict’s lexicon, it was defined as synonymous with peace. Those who support peace want a two-state solution and those who don’t oppose it.
For decades the two-state solution has been the centerpiece of U.S. policy, and the goal of Israeli-Palestinian diplomacy. The leadership in Ramallah, and the aging center-left “peace camp” in Jerusalem, cannot conceive of an alternative vision—even when they admit that the two-state solution is no longer realistic.
However Trump’s comments are to be interpreted, it is a breath of fresh air compared to the Obama administration’s final “act of arrogance and petty vengeance” against Israel by refusing to veto the United Nation’s resolution last December declaring Israel’s building houses and communities for its people, within its own borders, even in its own capital city as violations of international law.
No one is without excuse that Word further tells us in Romans 1:19-21: “Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.”
